The Oklahoma Sooners were blanked on the 2014 first and second team All-American lists but true freshman running back Samaje Perine and junior linebacker Eric Striker were  named to the third team.

Striker (6-0/220) recorded 56 total tackles along with team highs in sacks (7.5) and tackles for loss (14). The outside linebacker from Seffner, Florida is a pass rushing specialists who showed vast improvement in run support this season.

Samaje Perine literally carried the offense in what has been an injury filled season. The Pflugerville, Texas native racked up a team-high 1,579 yards and 21 touchdowns on 240 attempts. He started in seven of Oklahoma's twelve regular season games and finished with a 6.6 yards per carry average.
