At least two Sooners will compete in January's NFLPA Collegiate Bowl as seniors Julian Wilson and Chuke Ndulue announced on Sunday afternoon that they will travel to Carson, California to showcase their skills in front of NFL scouts and executives.
Wilson just completed his first full season at the collegiate level at the cornerback position. His season highlights include a seven-tackle performance against Baylor (a career high) and a 100-yard interception for a score to seal Oklahoma's win over Tennessee on September 13.
Ndulue, like Wilson, was shuffled around to various spots on the defense during his Sooner career as he played both inside and outside positions along the defensive line. His 6-3/289 frame, along with uncanny athleticism, allowed Oklahoma's coaches to shuffle him. He finished the 2014 season with 45 total tackles and three-and-a-half sacks.
The NFLPS Collegiate Bowl is an all-star game for college seniors that will be played on the campus of California State University Dominguez Hills . Kickoff of the game is a 3:00 p.m. (CT) on January 17 and it will air on ESPN2.
