The Oklahoma Sooners traveled to the Bahamas to participate in the Battle 4 Atlantis as Coach Lon Kruger made good on a promise to guard Buddy Hield. In the first round, OU took care of then #22 UCLA before shutting down Butler to reach the championship round. Although Oklahoma lost in the championship game to a national championship caliber squad, the performance on the islands proved worthy as the Sooners jump back into the top 25 in both polls.
