The past few days have seen numerous defensive back offers go out to players all across the country. JUCO safety Ezekiel Turner was one, but the Sooners didn't stop there. Here is a list of the players who have picked up offers over the past several recently at the defensive back position.
1. Collin Samuel 6'2" 180lbs from Long Beach Poly High School in Long Beach, California

Orr is currently committed to Louisville, but I wouldn't consider it a strong commit.
3. Calvin Bundage 6'3" 200lbs from Santa Fe High School in Edmond, OK. Bundage is a class of 2016 recruit

4. JUCO Justin Martin 6'2" 190lbs. from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in Miami, OK.

With the Sooners seemingly still in good position for Justin Reid and Kahlil Haughton, the only other reason to see such a large number of DB offers, is that the Sooners are expecting several players in the off season to leave the program for any number of reasons.
The other major reason would be that the Sooners lack playmakers in the secondary. If this season is any indication, the Sooners need a talent infusion in the secondary.
