OU currently has 11 scholarship WR (10 depending on the Dorial Green-Beckham situation) and one commit for the class of 2015 in John Humphrey. In spite of the going into next season with 12 scholarship WR's the Sooners have obvious question marks regarding impact players at the position. Shepard's impact in undeniable, Green-Beckham (if he plays next year) should be solid, Neal and Quick are starting to flash signs of being decent options, but that is where it ends. I am not giving up on the large group of underclassmen, as big jumps are usually made during a redshirt year.
The Sooners are however in need of a talent infusion, and it appears that JUCO WR Dede Westbrook could fit the bill. Westbrook tweeted that he will be visiting the Sooners this weekend as they take on the Jayhawks
I will be driving this weekend to OU!

Westbrook has been tearing it up this year for Blinn College catching an astounding 76 passes for 1487 yards and 13 TD's in just 8 games. Westbrook has offers from programs such as Baylor, Arizona St., Kansas St., OkState, WVU, TTech, and Louisville to go along with his Sooner offer.
Westbrook would be a nightmare matchup in the slot. His commitment would go a long way to solidifying the WR core for the 2015 season.
