Update: Jason Kersey reported that Keith Ford has officially been ruled out for Saturday's game.
After a disappointing loss in which the Oklahoma Sooners were out-coached and out-played, there is little to no time to recoup. Why? Let's not forget, Oklahoma continues to take to the road without the luxury of playing a home game since facing Tennessee on September 13th. The next home game is slotted for October 18th, over a month since the last home sighting, against the Kansas St. Wildcats. Yet, the year will not slow down. Dashing full steam ahead into one of the nation's premier rivalries, the Sooners must continue to wait on news regarding Keith Ford.
Stoops says injury situation is no different from last week. Unsure on Keith Ford's status, but will have update later

Unfortunately, at this current juncture in time, Ford does not appear ready to go for the OU/Texas game. However, a one member of the media caught on to a bit of optimism in Bob Stoops voice.
Stoops says no changes on injury front. Says Keith Ford 'is getting closer' ... Sounds optimistic, I wouldn't necessarily rule him out yet.

For the time being, the Sooners look to prepare without three players moving into Saturday's match-up.
