College Football Saturday Open Thread - Week Nine

No Oklahoma football today means we'll get to go to bed tonight with a normal blood pressure reading.

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

The college football season has officially passed the halfway point which means, if you're like me, that you'll be tuned in trying to catch every second that you can regardless of the fact that Oklahoma isn't playing. There are a few games that could help the Sooners in the conference race today but it means we may have to get a little dirty. Regardless of who wins the West Virginia/O-State game it'll help because one of those teams will drop from just having one Big 12 loss. Texas could really do the Sooners a solid by upsetting Kansas State so I'll be pulling for the Longhorns (I need to shower now) while also praying for a Texas Tech miracle in Ft. Worth.

Below you'll find today's schedule of games and we'll be here throughout to chat and share our thoughts and opinions. Hope you'll join us!
