A couple of sources are reporting tonight that Louisville head coach Charlie Strong will become the next head coach at the University of Texas. Chip Brown of OrangeBloods.com (who was all over the Mack Brown departing story) was one of the first to report the news and he was quickly followed by Football Scoop.
The UT source said Louisville's Charlie Strong will be offered the job, and Strong has indicated he will accept.

Since 2010 Strong has built a 38-15 record at Louisville and won the Sugar Bowl following the 2012 season. The Cardinals were a preseason favorite to return to a BCS game again this season but failed to win their converence, giving way to eventual Fiesta Bowl champion Central Florida.
