UPDATE:
Damien Williams benching has to do with off the field issues, from what I'm told. #Sooners.

There have been mutliple reports early Saturday morning that Oklahoma running back Damien Williams was not on the field with the team during pregame warm-ups. And now this tweet.
Being told Damien Williams will not play for the #Sooners today against #Tulsa
— Michael Kinney (@EyeAmTruth) September 14, 2013
At this point we do not know the reasons behind why Williams may not play against Tulsa, so we won't speculate. As soon as something becomes available, from a source that we trust, we'll be sure to update our story.
While not positive news for sure, it's also likely not the end of the world either as you'd hope Williams would not be necessary for the Sooners to defeat Tulsa.
For now however expect some combination of Roy Finch, Alex Ross, and/or Keith Ford (along with Brennan Clay of course) to get the carries Williams would have normally received.
