On A Busy Weekend Of NFL Preseason Action, We Check In On A Number Of Former Sooners

On a busy opening weekend of NFL preseason football, there were a number former Sooners in action.  Some with a job comfortably in hand, many others fighting for their football futures.

Here is a quick summary of how the OU alums have done through Friday's games.

Thursday:

Jeremy Beal (Broncos) - played, no stats
Sam Bradford (Rams) - 5-for-8 102 yards, 1 TD
Dominique Franks (Falcons) - 1 tackle
Jermaine Gresham (Bengals) - 2 catches for 21 yards

Justin Brown (Steelers) - 4 receptions, 32 yards (6 targets)
