Okay, so apologies this hasn't gone up sooner than it did. By now you've probably seen the schedule for this weekend's Baton Rouge Super Regional between the Oklahoma Sooners and LSU Tigers. But on the off chance you have not, here is the schedule:
Game One - June 7, Friday - 6:00 p.m. (CST) - ESPN
Game Two - June 8, Saturday - 6:00 p.m. (CST) - ESPN2
Game Three (if necessary) - June 9, Sunday - 6:00 p.m. ESPN2
As you can tell by the television schedule, after being banished to ESPN3 this past weekend the powers that be at ESPN are putting this Oklahoma/LSU match-up in the primetime slot. Certainly part of that is due to the quality opponent, but when have the potential No. 1 overall pick in Jonathan Gray and another high round draft pick in Dillon Overton you're bringing plenty to the table as well.
It probably doesn't hurt that said possible No. 1 overall pick is currently embroiled in something a "scandal" because ESPN is never one to drum up attention around something like that, right?
We are working with SB Nation's LSU site, And The Valley Shook, for a Q&A preview to help you get to know this LSU team prior to this weekend's games. So be sure to check back for that in the next day or two.
