As first reported by SoonerScoop.com, Oklahoma defensive tackle Chuka Ndulue was arrested early Saturday morning for suspicion of driving under the influence.
This is the second alcohol related offense for the Oklahoma football program in the span of about two months after sophomore quarterback Kendal Thompson was arrested for public intoxication back in early May.
Based on Bob Stoops' track record, if Ndulue is found guilty he will likely be facing a minimum of one game suspension. Which would presumably come in the Sooners season opener against Louisiana-Monroe on August 31st.
From a strictly football perspective, it would be a potential suspension this Oklahoma defensive line could ill-afford given how little depth they already have at the defensive tackle position.
The offseason strikes yet again.
