Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Mack Brown has now apparently resorted to handing out the equivalent of a participation ribbon in the form of Alamo Bowl "championship" rings. We can only assume orange wedges were also handed out with the "championship" rings.
In his defense, Mack does have a history of recognizing make believe championships.
One can only hope these rings will be the final piece of the puzzle to help Mack and his boys carry over that Alamo Bowl victory momentum into the 2013 season.
