In news that has been building for some time, 2014 Texas City (TX) wide receiver Armanti Foreman has decommitted from the Oklahoma Sooners per multiple reports.
Foreman was, at one time, OU's first verbal commitment in their 2014 class despite never having visited Norman. A visit which has still yet to take place to date, which undoubtedly played a role in his decision to decommit.
By most early accounts, Oklahoma is still in the mix but Stoops has never been a fan of a player who is committed continuing to take visits elsewhere. So with that line of thinking, this probably makes the most sense for both parties.
Foreman has been open in interviews about his desire to play with his twin brother, D'Onta (who is a running back), but according to Rivals his brother has yet to receive an offer from any of the schools that have offered Armanti.
Armanti Foreman told me Sat.: "I'm just really worried about where my brother is getting offered so I can look at that school a lot more."

Foreman has visited Texas multiple times in the past few weeks and has also made the trip to College Station as well. Florida, his self-professed favorite team growing up, has also recently offered.
The positive here for Oklahoma is Foreman's relationship with Jay Norvell and that a future trip to Norman is still likely to happen. The negative of course is having to re-recruit a player you previously had committed and his apparent (and understandable) strong desire to play with his brother, who up to this point Oklahoma has shown no and/or little interest in offering.
Following Foreman's decommitment, the Sooners now have just two 2014 verbal commitments in DB Vontre McQuinnie and RB Samaje Perine.
