As first reported by Guerin Emig of the Tulsa World, Oklahoma Sooners guard Je'lon Hornbeak has suffered a small stress fracture in his foot.
The injury is not serious and, barring something unexpected, will certainly be healed by the time next season rolls around.
Hornbeak spent a decent portion of last year in the starting lineup for Oklahoma's NCAA Tournament squad. The true freshman averaged 5.6 points per game last season and finished tied for second on the team in both assists per game (1.7) and steals per game (1.0).
