The NCAA Women's Tournament selections were announced Monday night and the Oklahoma women heard their names called for the 14th consecutive season.
The Sooners were awarded a No. 6 seed in the Oklahoma City regional and will face No. 11 Central Michigan in the first round. The two teams will square off in Columbus, Ohio and tip time is scheduled for an extra early 10:10 a.m. (CST).
The Chippewas went 21-11 on the season, 12-4 in conference play, and won their conference tournament to earn an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.
