One of my sources told me early this morning that Oklahoma to a BCS bowl is a, "done deal." The most likely scenario is that the Sooners will be traveling to the Big Easy to take on Alabama (this is all over the internet) but there's also a chance that the Orange Bowl would take OU against Clemson and send Ohio State to the Sugar. Regardless, it appears that this bowl season is going to bring a whole lot more prestige than we thought it was going to be a couple of weeks ago.
The main issue that Oklahoma was looking at is that they had to get at least a top 14 ranking in the final BCS standings. With the latest Coaches Poll just being released it appears as if that won't be an issue at all. The Sooners took a jump up to #10 in the poll and are now the second highest ranked Big Twelve school (Baylor #5).

The great news for the Big Twelve is that the conference is looking at two schools participating in BCS bowls with Baylor taking the conference tie in at the Fiesta Bowl. The Bears are looking at a match-up against Central Florida which would essentially make OU vs. Alabama/Clemson the marquee bowl game for the conference. As for the rest of the Big Twelve, here's a look at some potential match-ups.
