Isaac Ijalana became Oklahoma 18th commitment when he reinstated his loyalty to the Sooners on Sunday

John Rieger-USA TODAY Sports

First he was, then he wasn't, and now he is again. Pierce Community College tight end Isaac Ijalana has once again committed to Oklahoma. He chose to make his announcement on Sunday afternoon via Twitter, much to the pleasure of OU fans who are itching to see the tight end take an active role once again within the offense.

As usual the guys over at SoonerScoop are on top of this story and have a fantastic story on how Coach Boulware stayed with him in the recruiting process.

Ijalana is listed at 6-5/235 and is ranked as a three-star prospect by Rivals. He drew interest from almost a dozen schools and turned down offers from Akron, Bowling Green, and Illinois to come to Oklahoma. He is set to graduate this month which should put him on campus, in Norman, for the spring semester.

Welcome back to the Sooner Nation, Issac!
