Friday Locks Takes On The Civil War By Taking The Beavers And The Points

Jonathan Ferrey

Typically its Jordan and Rich weighing in on the same game during our Friday Locks series but this time its Rich and myself...and we're on the same side of the Oregon/Oregon State rivalry. Meanwhile Jordan weighs in on the big rivalry game in the Big Ten.

Week 11

Ohio State (-14.5) at Michigan - Big number for a rivalry game, but Michigan look horrible this year.

Baylor (-12) at TCU - I can't help but feel this line is an extreme overreaction to the Bears' poor performance in Stillwater.

West Virginia (-8) vs. Iowa State - Weird things happen in Morgantown.

Baylor (-12) vs TCU - There is no doubt that the Horned Frogs have struggled all season long to find an identity. Baylor will likely roll in this one.

Penn St. (+24) vs Wisconsin - The Badgers may be the most underrated team in the country. However they like to control the clock so give me the points on this one.

Oregon St. (+23) vs Oregon - Simply put, you never know what you are going to get from an in state rivalry game but it certainly won't be a blowout.

Oregon State (+23) at Oregon - The Ducks' season has taken a turn south over the last month but that's not the motivation behind my pick. This is a rivalry game and, despite Oregon needing to prove some things, Oregon State is deceptively good.

South Florida (+27) at Central Florida - I guess I'm just a sucker for big time road dogs.

Duke (+5.5) at North Carolina - The classic basketball rivalry moves from the hardwood to the gridiron and the wrong team is favored.
