Friday Locks | Baylor At Oklahoma State

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

After taking a week off, Friday Locks makes its triumphant return just in time to talk Bears vs. Cowboys and Miami vs. Virginia. Of course in this part of the country we're more concerned with what takes place in the Big Twelve and once again Jordan and Rich stand on opposite sides.

Jordan

Notre Dame (pick) vs. BYU - If the Irish were giving even a single point I probably wouldn't be making this pick. You could probably argue I shouldn't be making it regardless.  Bet accordingly (you know, if gambling were legal.

Oklahoma State (+9.5) vs. Baylor - What in the hell is this world coming to?!? Did I actually just pick OSU in anything? To be clear, I think Baylor wins the game but doesn't cover.

Mississippi (+2.5) vs. Missouri - I keep doubting this Mizzou team to my own (and my marriage) downfall, but like actual Mizzou fans I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop. On the road against a tough, talented opponent I think Saturday is that time.

Rich

Virginia (+20) vs Miami - The U has been exposed for who they truly are this season. A slide has begun and while Miami wins this game, I just don't think it is by three scores.

Baylor (-9.5) vs Oklahoma St. - Clearly the Bears are the favorite to win the Big XII conference and control their own destiny. Talking with a friend of mine, the conclusion is Baylor toys around with their opponent in the first half then turns it on in the second.

Michigan (+6) vs Iowa - The Wolverines will return to their roots as they run wild in this one. In a close and hard fought battle, Michigan wins this out outright.

Matt

Navy (+2.5) at San Jose State - The Midshipmen are the best of the service academies and have the offense to grind this game out on the ground, both eating up the clock and putting points on the board.

Virginia (+20) vs. Miami - The Hurricanes will win this game straight up, but I'll take the Hokies to keep it within three touchdowns.

Michigan State (-7) at Northwestern - The Wildcats were the big story early in the season but reality finally set in. I'll take the Spartans to win by more than a touchdown.
