Sooners In The NFL | Week Six

Week six in the NFL wasn't necessarily a productive one for our former Sooners, but several had solid outings. Including Sam Bradford who got his Rams to 3-3 on the season with an incredibly efficient performance and tied a career high with three touchdowns.  Adrian Peterson played after going through something earlier in the week no parent should ever have to go through.  Kenny Stills had what should have been a game winning touchdown catch were it not for the magic of Tom Brady.  And his teammate Curtis Lofton had another big game for the Saints defense.

Frank Alexander (Panthers) - played, no stats

Sam Bradford (Rams) - 12-for-16, 117 yards, 3 TD (ties career high), 0 INT

Ryan Broyles (Lions) - played, no stats, 2 targets

Chris Chester (Redskins) - started at right guard

Jamell Fleming (Jaguars) - played, no stats

Dominique Franks (Falcons) - bye week

Jermaine Gresham (Bengals) - 2 catches for 5 yards

James Hanna (Cowboys) - played, no stats, 1 target

I knew he would be getting over there late, but Kenny did a great job of getting by his guy and going up and making a play in the end zone. Obviously, that's a huge play in the game - third-and-20 - the score is 23-17, that gives us the lead and a lot of momentum. - Drew Brees New Orleans

Garrett Hartley (Saints) - 2/2 FGs (long of 39), 3/3 XPs

Tony Jefferson (Cardinals) - 2 special teams tackles

Lane Johnson (Eagles) - started at right tackle

Landry Jones (Steelers) - not active

Davin Joseph (Bucs) - started at right guard

Travis Lewis (Lions) - played, no stats

Phil Loadholt (Vikings) - started at right tackle

Curtis Lofton (Saints) - 12 tackles (game high), 1 sack

Gerald McCoy (Bucs) - 3 tackles, 1 QB hurry

Stacy McGee (Raiders) - 1 tackle

DeMarco Murray (Cowboys) - 7 rushes for 29 yards & 1 TD, 2 catch for 21 yards (left the game with an injury)

Adrian Peterson (Vikings) - 10 rushes for 62 yards, 3 catches for 21 yards

Donald Stephenson (Chiefs) - played, no stats
