OU Football - Taking A Stab At Your Ridiculously Early 2013 Projected Two Deep

Tom Pennington

It's officially the offseason, right? The only thing likely to be more worthless than a 2013 preseason poll, just days after Oklahoma's season came to a close, would be a 2013 projected depth chart. So what do we have for you, a 2013 projected depth chart!

Just to be perfectly clear, this is going to be full of guesses. Educated guesses mind you, but guesses none the less. Some assumptions were made with respect to Oklahoma's current 2013 recruiting class, but you're smart enough to pick those out.

it goes without saying a lot can change between now and August 31, 2013. With that in mind, think of this as a conversation piece more than anything seeing as it's still January.

(Oh, and h/t to SoonerSports who this template was very clearly "borrowed from.)

Feel pretty good about the offensive line, fullback and running back. Outside of that, the obvious question mark is what to expect with the transition from Landry Jones to Blake Bell. While there is a lot of depth at wide receiver, outside of Saunders and Shepard there really isn't much experience. And including Reynolds could easily be a mistake. Very excited to see Alex Ross in the crimson and cream.

Man, oh man. What to make of that defense. Again, similar to the offense there is certainly talent but where is the experience coming from? Colvin is obviously just one player, but does anybody else feel after looking at that above that he absolutely must come back?
