New Year's Day College Football Game Thread - Bring On The BCS!

Its New Year's Day, which means (for the most part) that its time for the big boys to start playing their bowl games. Today starts the run of BCS bowls with the Rose and Orange Bowls being played this evening.

Before we get there, though, we'll have to wade through a handful of other games that might actually turn out to be better than the BCS bowls. The Big 12 is represented today with OSU playing in the ~~No One Can Watch~~ Heart of Dallas Bowl on ESPNU. The conference is looking to get back on a winning track after yesterday's Iowa State loss to Tulsa.

Speaking about getting back on track. I sure would like to see my picks get back on track but I've pretty much lost hope of that happening. Congrats to alsooner1205 for continuing to hold on to first place in the pick'em contest.
