Along with the pick'em contest comes the not so fantastic picks from Jordan, Rich and myself and we do our best to handicap the college football season. Check out week one after the jump.

Michigan St. (-7.0) vs Boise St. - This is an easy pick for me due to the fact that Sparty will once again have one the most stingy defenses in the nation. On the flip side, Boise will only return 5 starters on offense while losing Kellen Moore along with their two leading rushers in Doug Martin and D.J Harper. Sure Michigan St. is replacing Kirk Cousins but there is no doubt in my mind they will cover the spread.
Washington (-14.5) vs SDSU - San Diego St. have fielded a few surprise teams in the past, this year is not one of them!
Michigan (+12.5) vs Bama - The SEC always fields a solid defense, unless of course you are the Texas A&M Aggies who like to give the game away after creating a large lead. Michigan will bring a high powered offense but will have questions along the defensive line. The strengths for Michigan are going to be QB play and the secondary. I'm confident Michigan can prevent huge gains while taking advantage of their assets to keep this one closer than viewers might like. Can they keep it inside 10 points...absolutely!

Arizona (-10) vs. Toledo
Va Tech (-7.5) vs. Georgia Tech
Our defending picks champion was short and to the point. Very business like!

Penn St. (-6.5) vs. Ohio - Let the healing begin in Happy Valley as Penn State picks up one of their handful of wins in the 2012 season.
Navy (+16.5) vs. Notre Dame - I believe the Irish win this game but there are too many suspensions to cover that spread against Navy.
Duke (-3) vs. Florida International - Wait...this isn't a basketball game?
