Despite indication Monday from Bob Stoops during his weekly press conference, Tuesday came and went with still no news on the status of transfer wide receiver Jalen Saunders.
Stoops informed the media following Tuesday evening's practice, but unlike Monday he gave no indication as to when he expected to hear anything. Even if he had, much like it has been for some time now, it likely just would have been "another day or two."
Not that we're really breaking any news here, but at this point the odds are pretty slim of Saunders being eligible this year. It is an unfortunate situation for everyone involved, but was a known risk from the moment he chose to transfer.
