The OU Board of Regents approved new contracts for a number of Oklahoma coaches Tuesday afternoon. With the exception of head coach Bob Stoops, nearly every football coach received a raise.

Co-offensive coordinators Josh Heupel and Jay Norvell were bumped up to $350,000 ($20k increase), Mike Stoops received a three year contract at $600,000 per year, and Tim Kish got a one year contract (S.O.P. for most OU football assistants) $269,000. Bobby Jack Wright ($280,000), Cale Gundy ($270,000), James Patton ($265,000), Bruce Kittle ($252,000), Jackie Shipp ($270,000), and Jerry Schmidt also received raises.

In addition to the football staff; women's basketball head coach Sherri Coale's contract was extended through the 2017-18 season (she's scheduled to make $1.02 million this season), baseball's Sunny Golloway was extended through 2017 (you're all cool with this, right?), and softball's Patty Gasso was also extended through 2017.
