Oklahoma's baseball season essentially seemed to be over on May 6th when they dropped the rubber match of the Bedlam series 3-2. However, instead of raising the white flag of surrender the Sooners responded by winning eight of their final eleven games, including a three-game sweep over then second ranked Baylor and a run to the championship game of the Big XII Tournament.

Now the Sooners are rolling into Charlottesville full of energy and possibly playing their best baseball of the season.

Max White leads the team with a .356 batting average and 54 RBI. He's one of two players on the roster batting over .300 with Matt Oberste being the other. Oberste is batting .311 with 5 home runs and 16 RBI. He was insane in the Big XII Tournament with multiple home runs and could be just the spark the Sooners need from the plate as the head into the NCAA Tournament. Erik Ross, Evan Mistich, Cody Reine, Jack Mayfield and Caleb Bushyhead are all capable of delivering in the clutch and Mayfield is an absolute vacuum at second base.
