The Big XII tournament wraps up amongst others. While some were hopeful that the Sooners would "walk their way into hosting a regional," it never really seemed likely. Just before the Sunday games were played, the host sites were released. The Big XII was able to land two hosts in Texas A&M and Baylor. By virtue of these schools being selected as host sites, they are also awarded a spot in the 64-team field.
