Former Sooner offensive tackle Donald Stephenson was selected 74th overall (3rd round) by the Kansas City Chiefs. With the somewhat surprising selection, at least according to the draft "gurus", Stephenson became the second Sooner selected thus far. Both Stephenson and Broyles were selected earlier than projections and prior to Ronnell Lewis and Jamell Fleming who were both projected to go earlier.

Stephenson is originally from the Kansas City area, so he'll have an opportunity to play close to family and friends.

Congrats Donald!
