Considering the road woes that Oklahoma has had this season, few gave them a chance if any at all. But, as the Sooners have done several times this season, they took a lead into the half over a much respected team. During Saturday's game Lon Kruger's team executed the game plan very well and took a three point lead into the locker-room limiting Perry Jones III.

This is the point where many Sooner fans get worried. Time and time again, OU has remained tough through the first half followed up by falling flat at the start of the second. Once again, this would be a test of learning from the past for this squad.

The afternoon would see a tie for the 12th time before the Baylor Bears took a 3-point lead on a Pierre Jackson bomb with just under 11 minutes to play. In an instant, Oklahoma found themselves in a familiar spot as Baylor would go on a 13-2 run capped off by 6 quick points from beyond the arc from Brady Heslip.

On the other end, the Oklahoma Sooners remained perfect from beyond the arc hitting 0-12 with Steven Pledger and Tyler Neal combining for 10 of those attempts.

Pledger lead all scorers with 21 points.

In the end, Oklahoma simply doesn't have a deep enough bench. Lon Kruger was forced to go deeper than he may have liked to keep up with the talent of the Baylor Bears. It is most definitely something that will need to improve in the coming years to compete for an entire season in the Big XII.
