The Detroit Lions announced Monday afternoon that former Oklahoma wide receiver, Ryan Broyles, suffered a torn ACL in this past Sunday's game. Broyles will obviously miss the remainder of this season after really coming on as of late after receiving a bump in playing time following Titus Young's issues with the team.
Not that a torn ACL is ever a good thing, but fortunately for Broyles this injury was not to the same knee which he hurt during his senior season at Oklahoma.
In news that will surprise no one, Broyles was his typical jovial self even in spite of the disappointing news.
Ill be back at it next year! RT @detroitlionsnfl: Coach Schwartz just announced @ryanbroyles tore his ACL (opposite as college)
