Friday Locks: I Suck Again!

My ride at the top of our Friday Locks was fun, but short lived. The last two weeks have shown the real me and have proved two things. First, no one should ever put any stock into my picks. Second, I was right to never wager on a sporting event.

On the other hand, our man Jordan has proven his merit and therefore we all bow down to say, "We're not worthy!" I'm starting to think that he doesn't care too much for Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel though.

USC (-9) vs. Arizona State - Welp, we know Barkley & company can score points. Play defense, um yeah, not so much. Still, give me the Trojans to cover coming off the loss to Oregon.

Tennessee (-3) vs. Missouri - Another weekly installment of your Missouri Tigers "Season Of Regret But We're In A Perpetual State Of Denial So We'll Continue To Say We Have No Regrets" Tour.

Alabama (-13.5) vs. Texas A&M - I'll be honest with you. I don't care if I get this pick right or not just so long as someone on this Bama defense decapitates Johnny Football. I'll concede the pick entirely if someone can please, please, please make this happen.

Louisville (-2) at Syracuse - This is a game in which the Cardinals either cover or lose. Yes, it's that simple. Louisville is winning by an average of seven points on the road which is plenty enough to cover this spread.

USC (-9) vs. Arizona State - Trojans end their two-game losing streak but Lane Kiffin will still be a jerk-weed.

West Virginia (+8.5) at Oklahoma State - Just realized that I'm picking a bunch of losers this week. The Mountaineers are on a three-game skid and although they'll most likely lose to O-State this weekend, it'll be by less than 8 points.

Bama (-13.5) vs Texas A&M - Alabama is simply the best defense any team will face this season. If LSU can handle business on the road against the Aggies, I'd expect the Crimson Tide to do the same at home with a comfortable win.


Kansas St. (-7.0) vs TCU - The Wildcats have solidified themselves as one of the best teams in the country. I am banking on Collin Klien playing while the defense is currently sitting at a +20 turnover margin on the season easily giving KSU a 7 point victory this weekend.


LSU(-14.5) vs Miss St. - In my opinion, Mississippi St. has been a pretender in the SEC who benefited greatly from a weak portion in the schedule.
