As you know by now we're having a pick'em contest here at CCM that is sponsored by Sooner Legends Inn & Suites. As you also probably know from our Friday Locks neither JTE, OnlyOne or myself were the winners of the monthly prize. However, it could be worse. We could be below .500. Check out this week's locks after the jump!

JTE
Last Week: 0-2

 Season 4-4

Boise State       (-27.5) vs. Nevada

Unlike OU last week, I fully expect Boise State to play up to expectations in their revenge game.  Nevada cost Boise a perfect season last year and now they get their revenge on that seizure inducing smurf turf.  I think they win and win big.          Wisconsin  (-9.5) vs. Nebraska I usually tend to stay away from the "big" game of the weekend, but this one for me is too good to pass up.  Wisconsin hasn't really played anyone so it's hard to really say how good they are, but at home they are very tough to beat.  That coupled with the fact I think Nebraska is maybe the most overrated team in the Top 25, I think the Badgers make 'em look bad in prime time.  We know from last year, if you hit Martinez early he'll go into a shell.

Last Week: 1-1  Season: 5-3

Baylor      (-3.5) vs. Kansas St

When RGIII steps onto the field, greatness has followed. The way he has elevated his game this season makes them capable of scoring points at will. I don't think anything changes this week and RGIII continues to put up Heisman numbers leading to a comfortable victory.

Va. Tech  vs. Clemson (+7)

Clemson has possibly the best receiver in the ACC and maybe even all the NCAA. It will be a tough match up for the Hokies all day long. Not only that but Sammy Watkins is a do it all type of player and will be a player to watch. While Va. Tech might be able to edge the Tigers, it will be a nail biter to the end. I'm taking Clemson and the points.

CC Machine
Last Week: 1-1 Season: 4-4
Arkansas    (-2.5) vs. Texas A&M The Aggies have been  horrible against the SEC since the inception of the Big 12. Not only to the Hogs cover this tiny spread, they win the game outright.   Illinois (+8) vs. Northwestern JTE lost on Illinois last week so this is a bit of a risk. However, I think this is a great opportunity to take them Nothing like a slap in the face to get you awake and ready to earn your ranking. Give me Illinois and the points!
