Friday Locks: Let's All Just Pick Oklahoma State

The way the Cowboys are scoring points in 2011 could make them a safe pick every week. (Photo by Brett Deering/Getty Images)

Its Friday! That means we're just one day away from college football Saturday. As you prepare your picks in the 2011 Crimson And Cream Machine pick'em contest sponsored by Sooner Legends Inn And Suites here are a few of our favorite picks. Feel free to give us your own Friday Locks and make sure to check out the Official Pick'em Rules

Last Week: 2-0

Season 2-2
North Texas (+46) vs. Alabama    That's an awful lot of points and I'm gonna take 'em.  Not that I think Bama can't win by that margin, but I think they call off the dogs early and rest plenty of guys for a much bigger game next against Arkansas   Oklahoma State          (-13.5) @ Tulsa          I think this is an EASY lock for OSU.  I think Tulsa can put up some points on their D, but nowhere near enough to keep it close.

Last Week: 1-1  Season: 3-1
Penn St.     (-6.5) vs. Temple     Penn St. Defense will give the offense a break this week and allow them plenty of possessions to go up by more than a TD.

Oklahoma St. (-13.5) vs. Tulsa

The OSU defense looked much improved from week 1 to week 2 and their progression continues. The offense is going to score in droves and Tulsa is left in the dust after the first quarter.

Last Week: 1-1 Season: 1-3
Georgia Tech (-14.5) vs. Kansas This is a "revenge game" for the Yellow Jackets after being embarrassed in Lawrence last season by a really bad Kansas team. Georgia Tech doesn't look back this time though as they roll to a big victory.  Stanford    (-9.5) at Arizona Arizona's defense struggled heavily against Oklahoma State last week. Now they're home against another one of the nation's best quarterbacks. I believe The Cardinal can name their score.
