Oklahoma Sooners All Access - The Final Episodes

New, 6 comments

If you didn't have a chance to catch this last night, I strongly encourage you to stop whatever it is you might be doing and watch this video.  It will be 48 minutes of your time well spent.  You.Will.Love.It!  I don't know about the rest of you, but I thought the final hour of the behind the scenes program was easily the best of the series.  Don't get me wrong, they were all awesome.  No doubt.  And in spite of  some recycled clips (if you saw the first four episodes) within the first half hour, the remainder more than made up for that.

I think part of what made this so cool is because of the usual 24/7 lockdown Stoops has on that place, this allowed us all access to something we never get to see and even really hear about.  Heck, even Jake Trotter who covers the team on a daily basis and joined us on our Sooner Nation podcast said the media, who has access none of us will ever have, don't even get to see it.  Having an opportunity to see the relationship Stoops, and really all the coaches, have with the players was in a word, special.  Plus getting to see how much they all cared about the loss of their teammate was both incredibly heartwarming and emotional.

CC already mentioned the planned tribute to Austin Box (which I am a HUGE fan of fyi) below that was mentioned last night during the show, but if there is any part of you that considers itself an OU fan the video and comments they made about #12 during the second half hour is absolutely mandatory viewing.  Heck, if you're a human being with a heart it's mandatory viewing.  It was, without a doubt, one of the most touching moments you could possibly imagine and a moment as an OU fan I will never forget for the rest of my life.  Made me even prouder to be an OU fan.  I'm not sure what else I could say about it honestly, you just need to watch it.
