Archie Bradley continues waiting in the wing for the right deal to be struck up. Will he throw this opportunity out for the chance to play on one of the biggest stages in all of college football?

Tonight at Midnight ET (translates to 9:00 PM MST) marks the deadline for MLB teams to sign players drafted this past June. As is common knowledge these days, not only did Archie Bradley committed to play baseball and football at the University of Oklahoma, he was drafted with the 7th overall pick by the Arizona Diamondbacks. As it currently stands, Bradley has not come to terms with the D-Backs (which is common among top 10 picks at this point) who picked him up as a compensation pick for not being able to sign their top pick from the previous draft. If the D-Backs are unable to sign Bradley, they will not get another compensation pick so you can bet they will be throwing their best at him. If, and that's a big if at this point, Bradley does come to play for a Division I school in the University of Oklahoma, he will not be able to re-enter the draft next year and will not be eligible again for three years.

We could see Archie Bradley suit up in a Sooners uniform which would do wonders for the baseball team. I can't say he would be the next QB at OU though considering Blake Bell is still waiting in the shadows and Bradley has not attended a single practice.
