After the news last week of Durron Neal's unexpected commitment, Mizzou fans were understandably perturbed by losing one of their state's top players.  Well now the tables have turned a bit as today Mizzou secured the verbal commitment from a very talented offensive lineman in Evan Boehm.  The Sooners were long believed to be a favorite for Boehm, along with Mizzou, and for some time it looked like OU would steal another one away from the Tigers.  Sadly, at least for OU fans anyway, that is not the case as Boehm visited Columbia today and pledged his allegiance to the Tigers.

In the end (cue Bob Stoops), with both parents being alums of Missouri OU was probably fighting an uphill battle.  This eliminates one of OU's top offensive linemen recruiting targets, but could open up a spot for an in-state kid like Cayman Bundage.  Even though he chose another, good luck to Evan at Mizzou.

And if our consolation prize for missing out on Boehm is Dorial Green-Beckham, well I guess I'd be alright with that!
