Its time to get concerned Sooner fans. Baseball just isn't going the way we had hoped it would and certainly not the way the players thought it would. After finishing third in the regular season standings the Sooners drew a team they didn't match up very well against in the regular season. The Sooners have now lost three of their last four games against the Wildcats and stand a good chance of playing them again, assuming they can get past Texas Tech on Thursday.
The Red Raiders gave the second seeded Texas A&M Aggies a scare in the first game of Wednesday's evening session before falling 10-5. They'll play Oklahoma in the loser's bracket at 12:30 on Thursday afternoon. From here on out every game is an elimination game and the Sooners are walking on the edge.
Should Oklahoma get past Texas Tech on Thursday they'll play the loser of Texas A&M/Kansas State on Friday and then have to defeat one of those two teams twice on Saturday to make it to the championship.
