OU Football - 2011 NFL Draft Recap

via <a href=""></a>

So the Sooners had four guys drafted during the course of the three day event, which was one better than most expected.  Demarco Murray started things off going to the Dallas Cowboys, Quinton Carter and Jeremy Beal will be Denver Broncos, and Jonathan Nelson is joining former Sooners Sam Bradford and Mark Clayton on the St. Louis Rams.  Obviously a big time congrats to all four on the honor of being selected and for their contributions to OU and of course hopefully long and successful careers in the NFL.  It's also likely that guys like Cameron Kenney, Eric Mensik, and possibly Adrian Taylor will sign free agent deals once the lockout situation is resolved.

But for now I thought it would be helpful to kind of link up all the reaction to the Sooners that were drafted.  So hopefully if it's all in one place here, you can click around and check out all the news on the latest Sooners joining the NFL.
