There's not much to say about Oklahoma's 83-48 win over South Carolina State other than it was dominating. The Sooners didn't shoot particularly well (39%) but crashed the boards to an impressive 63-36 advantage. Three Sooners scored in double figures, led by Steven Pledger's 22. Andrew Fitzgerald scored 17 and Romero Osby added 10 points and 18 rebounds to record a double-double. Oklahoma scored 34 points in the paint and 22 second chance points.
Lon Kruger has done an amazing job at turning this program around in just ten games. The conference season is still looming which could cause this team to come back down to earth a bit but even at that the program is light year's ahead of where it was last year.
