While trying not to get score updates through out the day specifically on the Oklahoma game, I was able to catch a replay late Saturday night. Even in a foreign land, it is tough not to hear a score or update from a local or a family member at home. However, that does not change the anticipation and excitement for the game. Here is a short list of a few stats that stick out.
- Oklahoma was out-gained on offense with 404 yards to Texas A&M's 527 yards
- Roy Finch had a career high 26 carries...but will he be able to continue to hold up?
- Blake Bell was second on the team in carries
- The Sooners created 3 turnovers from Ryan Tannehill
- Ryan Broyles ACL tear means he will retain the career receptions mark but will fall short of the career receiving yards mark
- Michael Hunnicutt was perfect on the afternoon
- Both Landry Jones (18/38) and Tannehill (32/63) were at roughly 50% on their completion rates
- Jaz Reynolds has recorded 3 one-hand catches in two games
- OU has more rushing attempts (47) than passing attempts (39)
- The Aggies are 0-7 at Owen Field while Bob Stoops has been the HC at OU
- Oklahoma lead 13-10 with 11:27 left in the 3rd….with 4:38 still left in the 3rd, Oklahoma lead 41-10
