Sooner Nation Replay: Iowa St. Recap, Brandon Williams, Belldozer

Oklahoma wins with a stout defense. The linebackers were all over the place leaving the Iowa St. Cyclones begging for yards. Their only touchdown came off a bad snap from James Winchester that sailed over Tress Way's head putting the Cyclones on the 10 yard line. The offense on the other hand was a different story. Brandon Williams gained over 7 yards per carry but only had 11 touches to Roy Finch's 15. We know that Finch is a smaller back whose ability to hold up after 20-25 carries is in question. This is a game where Bob Stoops said Williams would have a bigger role. So what was our take? For the first time in a long time, Blake Bell was allowed to throw the ball and he threw an INT. Speculation was that the Belldozer formation would be expanded to include some different looks. Has the formation been used up after seeing a pick from Bell and an option play that went awry? Are we for the changes being made as well as keeping the formation? Lastly, we wrap up the action around the Big XII.
