There is not much to say about this game other than that there were a ton of things that could have been.

  • Baylor had punted only 21 times, by far the fewest in the nation, heading into this past Saturday and continue that trend adding only two to that number against the Sooners
  • In the first quarter Oklahoma had five penalties for 64 yards
  • Robert Griffin III has thrown a TD pass for 60+ yards in 8-of-10 games now
  • The Dan Beebe Curse continues to claim Big XII players
  • OU had a TD drive where not a single WR touched the ball
  • Last season Oklahoma's Austin Box stuffed Baylor on 4th down on the 33 yard line...This season the teams found themselves in the same scenario with the same result
  • RG3PO (half man half machine) very easily could have had 500+ passing yards if a TD pass had not been called back and finished being accountable for 551 yards of offense
  • The 3rd String QB in Blake Bell had 4 rushing touchdowns
  • Landry Jones did not throw a TD pass (at least not one that wasn't penalized) yet the offense finished with 605 total yards of offense, 15 less that Baylor
  • The Bears had four scoring drives of less than 60 seconds including the game winning drive
  • Baylor beat Oklahoma for the first time ever giving them a record of 1-20 against the Sooners
