OU releases depth chart for Texas week

Bob says, "If you guys are going to be in Dallas next week, then we're going to have a BIG problem."

If you know anything about Bob Stoops, you probably won't be surprised by this depth chart and the fact that it is virtually unchanged despite several shaky performances against Cincinnati last week.  However, it certainly wouldn't be the first time the starting lineup trotting out onto the field isn't exact match to the depth chart released earlier in the week.  As always, we'll have to wait until Saturday to see if Bob has any little tricks up his sleeve but for now check out the latest depth chart after the jump.

  • Donald Stephenson appears to have won back the starting LT job.  Other than that, the offensive line remains the same with LG Ikard, C Habern, RG Lepak, and RT Mensik
  • The WR spot yields by far the two biggest disappointment.  First being Cam Kenney still listed as the starter ahead of Dejuan Miller.  The second being after a pretty impressive game last week, no Trey Franks to be found on the two deep.
  • Daniel Noble moves up into the two deep not only due to Casey Walker's knee injury, but also thanks to some impressive play despite limited snaps.
  • Tom Wort is still listed as the starter at MLB and I'm quite certain this will be a position most if not all OU fans keep a very close eye on this coming Saturday.
  • Jamell Fleming is also still listed as the starter which gives the impression the coaches believe he'll be able to give it a go after spraining his ankle early in the Cincinnati game last week.
  • And finally the kicker spot remains unchanged with "Big" Jimmy Stevens still listed as the starter.  If, and good lord I hope it doesn't, the game in Dallas comes down to a FG here's hoping that Jimmy can exorcise some serious demons after last year.
