Sooners Couldn't Rally/Face Elimination Rematch Against South Carolina

Oklahoma went from being one win away from the CWS championship series to three on Wednesday when their rally attempt against Clemson failed. The Sooners had ample opportunity to push runs across the plate but just couldn't deliver.

OU did score three runs off two homers by Cameron Seitzer and Tyler Ogle and an RBI double by Ogle in the 9th while the Sooner pitchers held Clemson scoreless over the final four innings but in the end not being able to capitalize on a bases loaded situation in the 8th proved to be too costly in the 6-4 loss.

Now Oklahoma faces a rematch against South Carolina tomorrow night in the elimination game. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
