Rangers Update: Four Game Slide Has Texas Last In AL West

The Texas Rangers haven't won a game since they downed Cleveland, 6-2, on the 14th of that month. At that time they were knocking on the door of first place in the AL West and things were on an upswing. The Cleveland series was their second consecutive series victory and their season record had risen to 5-3. The next day Texas fell to the Indians, 3-2, and the walked into an ambush in New York, resulting in a four game losing streak.

The bad news for the Rangers is that after a day off today they remain on the road. The good news for them is that they're traveling to play a struggling Boston Red Sox team that's lost five in a row.
