Welcome to the Crimson and Cream Machine as the Oklahoma Sooners get set to take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys in a non-conference rivalry game.  While this game won't count in the conference standings, it would still be a great road victory for the Sooners and one that you know the Pokes would love to steal.  Oklahoma hasn't played in Stillwater in a long time, so let's go up North and head back Norman with a W.

From Soonersports.com:

• No. 11 Oklahoma (25-7, 5-5 Big 12) heads to Stillwater, Okla., Tuesday for a non-conference installment of the Bedlam Series, presented by Oklahoma Farm Bureau and the Oklahoman, with Oklahoma State (18-12, 3-6). The action gets underway at 6:30 p.m. at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium. It marks the first contest on a campus site between the two in-state rivals since 1996. The series moved to a three-game set at neutral sites when the Big 12 Conference was formed in 1997.

• The Sooners are ranked as high as No. 11 this week by Collegiate Baseball (No. 14-USA and No. 16-Baseball America) and are off to their best start under Sunny Golloway, tying the same mark set a year ago after 32 games. OU is 8-0 in midweek games this season while the Cowboys are 6-4.

• OSU returns 16 letterwinners from the 2009 team that was 34-24 overall and ninth in the Big 12 with a 9-16 mark. The Cowboys went 2-2 in the NCAA Clemson Regional. The Cowboys lost two out of three last weekend at home against Texas Tech and are 4-6 in their last 10 games. OSU has topped Nebraska (2-1) in series action and was swept by Kansas State in the Big 12 opening weekend.
