Rangers At .500 After Winning Series Against Mariners

The week in which I confess my loyalty to the Seattle Mariners just happened to be the same week that Crimson and Cream Machine readers voted the Texas Rangers as our team to follow in 2010, which just happened to lead into the weekend in which Texas took two of three games from Seattle. Texas won the first and final games of the series with the Mariners taking the middle game.

The series win put the Rangers at 3-3 on the season and in sole possession of second place in the AL West. They are just 1.5 games back of Oakland for first place. Texas is on the road this week. They start off with a visit to the Cleveland Indians before hooking up with the Yankees in New York over the weekend.
