Oklahoma will say goodbye to three seniors this morning as Tony Crocker, Beau Gerber and Ryan Wright take the floor in the Lloyd Noble Center for the last time in a regular season game. Going out with a win over a Top 25 team would be a nice addition to their legacy but they're facing a Texas A&M team that's moving in the complete opposite direction. The Aggies have won seven of their last nine games while the Sooners have lost eight of their last nine.
The Aggies are 10-5 in the Big 12 Conference, 21-8 overall for the season and 4-5 on the road this year. They score an average of 71.6 points per game (9th in the Big 12) while allowing opponents to score 66.5 points (1st in the Big 12). Shooting 43% from the floor for the season, the Aggies are the 7th best shooting team in the conference. They are at the bottom of the Big 12 in three-point (12th) and free throw shooting (11th).
Texas A&M only has one player who averages in double figures scoring but he's one of the best in the conference. Senior guard Donald Sloan averages 18.1 points per game and has made 40 three-point shots on the season where he's good about 37% of the time. Junior guard B.J. Holmes leads the team with 52 made three-point shots and also shoots 37% from beyond the arch.
