Oklahoma finished off a four game sweep of San Diego Sunday afternoon with a 5-2 victory. Off a strong pitching performance from Bobby Shore the Sooners never trailed in the game, building a 4-0 lead through the first four innings. Shore pitched 7 innings allowing just 1 run and striking out 5 batters.
Offensively, Elliott Blair went 4-for-4 from the plate knocking in 2 runs and scoring once himself. Ricky Eisenberg also knocked in 2 runs while going 2-for-4 from the plate.
"We used everybody this weekend and it was a team effort. We traveled an awful lot of young men and I can't remember an early-season road trip where I have used every player (on the trip). Again, I think that speaks volumes, about what we talked about at our banquet and on media day, about the depth of our club.

Oklahoma in now 4-0 on the season and will play in the Jacksonville (FL) tournament this coming weekend.
